The palace, known as the Castle of San Martino, is a square structure with four corner towers giving it somewhat the air of a fortress. The interior is set around a large central courtyard, and the entrance, marked by an arched portal with ashlar work, is located in the centre of the main façade. The coat of arms of the Borghese family, who owned the estate in the 20th century, is above the doorway. Besides hosting the Museo per the Matematica Giochiamo all'Infinito (Let's Play Infinity Museum for Mathematics), also has conference and hotel facilities. In the museum foyer, once the chapel, we can see a fresco with St. Romuald, founder of the Camaldolese order, a monastic community that lived in the palace in the mid-17th century. The castle, is in the San Martino park, an estate covering about 33 hectares and now municipal property.
