Built in the sixteenth century, the Palazzo del Sedile of Lecce was built to host audiences and public meetings. To make the structure particularly elegant, it is an imposing ogival arch on which develops a refined loggia with three arches. The building is on two floors and in the past presented interesting frescoes, depicting scenes from the life of Charles V, unfortunately disappeared. The particular volumetric shape of the building is outlined by four imposing corner pillars. Inside, on the back side of the building, there were shops rented by the municipal administration. Today it is home to the tourist information desk.
