The Museum of Rural Life "Masseria Lupoli" in Crispiano is set up in the charming rural architecture at the foot of the Murge Tarantine, surrounded by the green Mediterranean landscape. The exhibits that tell of the peasant civilization of the past are placed in the medieval tower of the farm and are divided into nine thematic rooms, where the visitor can also admire the reconstruction of some typical environments of the popular residences of the early twentieth century: the kitchen with the fireplace and the master bedroom. The first nucleus of the museum collection dates back to 1967, when Edmondo Perrone began his collection of objects, tools and agricultural machinery of the Masseria Lupoli. In 1988 the Municipality of Crispiano realized the exhibition "The Hundred Masserie of Crispiano", to enhance the rich cultural heritage of the characteristic buildings that dot the territory.
