In Monte Sant'Angelo, the Tancredi Museum offers visitors the chance to discover the traditions and most typical aspects of the local community up close. The route is divided over a period of time that goes from the beginning of the seventeenth century to the twentieth century. The demo-ethno-anthropological material on display includes some objects related to the cult of St. Michael the Archangel, but also utensils and household objects and work tools, many of which are used in craft workshops. Among these are a tank for milling olives and characteristic dry stone constructions such as the «pagliaio» and the «calichra». It is also possible to admire a permanent exhibition entitled "The ancient inhabitants of the Gargano", with some precious archaeological finds from the Ciminiera area and belonging to the pre-Roman period, which are accompanied by funerary objects.
