In the historic center of Molfetta, the Civic Collection of Contemporary Art is a collection of about 60 works of various origins exhibited in the halls of the 16th century Palazzo Giovene, seat of the Municipality, which welcomes visitors with the refined Renaissance façade. One of the museum's most famous names is undoubtedly Renato Guttuso, but alongside the master of Italian twentieth-century art you can also admire artefacts from artists from Molfetta, such as Michele and Liborio Romano, Franco d'Ingeo, Natale Addamiano, Michele Paloscia and Anna Rita Spezzacatena. One room, in particular, is reserved for the 11 paintings by Leonardo Minervini and the "Portrait of Minervini" signed by Carlo Siverio in 1936.
