The "Corrado Giaquinto" Art Gallery, dedicated to the famous Pugliese painter of the eighteenth century, is a medieval and modern art gallery with Neapolitan Venetian ceramics and nativity scenes, paintings and icons from Puglia. It is located on the top floor of the Palace of the Province of Bari, with a splendid sea view and an enviable strategic position on the Nazario Sauro seafront, ten minutes from the station and five from the Murattiano village. Among temporary exhibitions and permanent sections, the Pinacoteca offers a documentation of the Apulian art from the eleventh to the nineteenth century, unique in the regional panorama, with Venetian presences of rare beauty from Vivarini to Giovanni Bellini, Paolo Veronese and Jacopo Tintoretto. Do not miss the core of paintings by Corrado Giaquinto, and the collection of nineteenth-century works by Giuseppe De Nittis, Francesco Netti, Domenico Morelli and Giovanni Boldini.
