The former Town Hall of San Ferdinando di Puglia is today the seat of the Civic Museum established in 1984, which includes a permanent exhibition dedicated to the traditions and history of the municipality. The archaeological section houses a collection of artifacts found in the area dating from the Neolithic to the early Middle Ages including axes, millstones, picks, blades and chisels, Roman and medieval epigraphs, fragments of olle and numerous Daunian pottery. The ethnographic section, on the other hand, is a display of ancient everyday objects and tools linked to rural civilization. You can admire some reconstructions of environments typical of the 1950s, such as the classroom, the farmer's house, the stable and the blacksmith's, carpenter's, tinsmith's and cooper's shops.
