  Open House Roma

The Salvatelli building was built by Ponti, with the collaboration of engineers Fornaroli and Soncini, in 1940. This is his second work in Rome after the School of Mathematics in the University City (1935), and is the only residential architecture in the capital . In 1995 the change of use of one of the apartments, required by the new property, was the occasion for an intervention that attempted to reconcile the new functional requirements with the respect and restoration of the original project. The visit will be conducted by the Architect Claudio Greco, who oversaw the restoration and adaptation intervention.
