  Open House Roma

Bunker was born from a recovery project of a former air raid shelter of the Second World War in San Lorenzo, converted into a coworking space. Located inside one of the oldest buildings in the neighborhood, Bunker overlooks the same garden that saw the birth of the first Children's House inaugurated by Maria Montessori. Bunker is an open space of 190 square meters, divided into six communicating rooms, redeveloped with the intention of preserving the original charm of the place. The white of the vaults, the light gray of the microcement, enhanced by an accurate lighting project, give a new light to the history of the ancient anti-aircraft shelter. The cast iron lanterns produced for Acea in San Lorenzo by the Carnival Foundry, the large wooden desks and the hand-painted signs contribute to creating an elegant industrial atmosphere.
