A path in the heart of the Trieste district, built in the 1920s with the subdivision of Villa Lancellotti, and the surrounding land. The nucleus of Piazza Verbano, around which the INCIS district is designed for the families of state employees, ended with the Virgilian Park devised by De Vico. The area has a mixture of buildings and greenery, and inside it we can explore an interesting stratification: from the first catacombs to significant examples of designer buildings, built between the 30s and the 60s, by architects such as Aschieri , Quaroni, Aymonino. Another fulcrum of the neighborhood is Piazza Istria, a hub along Corso Trieste, which connects Via Nomentana with Via Salaria. From here began, after the Second World War, that phase of intensive construction, which will extend towards the African quarter.
