Silvio Galizia worked as a collaborator for Riccardo Morandi, from whom he refined his structural knowledge in the use of concrete. In the second half of the 50s he received various assignments all related to the religious sphere. In the 1960s he became a reference architect for sacred building. In his architecture with organic forms he shaped reinforced concrete by modeling it into composite figures and very complex roofing. The church for the Sisters of the Immaculate Conception of Ivrea is considered his most emblematic work. The Silvio Galizia archive in 2005 was declared of historical interest by the Archival Superintendency for Lazio and is kept by the heirs in Rome.
