There is a gym in Rome, the "Audace" gym in Via Frangipane 12 and there is the story of a man, a man like many others, a young boxer who went there to train, he was Leone Efrati but for all was Lelletto, one of the ten best weights of the thirties, until 1938, when the racial laws prevented Lelletto to compete, because Lelletto was a man like many others, for many he was a Jew and the history of that crazy world was just a life to be eliminated; was deported to Auschwitz where he died on April 19, 1944, but managed to save his son, a six-year-old boy, by throwing him from the truck that was taking them away. Lelletto is no longer there, he has not been there since 19 April 1944 but his memory still hovers there, in Via Frangipane at number 12.
