The original building, typical example of alpine rural architecture built in the first half of the nineteenth century by Lorenzo Guanella, father of Luigi, over time has undergone several transformations and additions that have given it its current appearance. The conservative interventions of the 90s of the last century have highlighted the historical part compared to that realized later, now intended for residential purposes for groups of spirituality. The interiors still retain the atmosphere of warmth and familiar sobriety of when the Guanella family lived there.
