  Streets of Rome

It is dedicated to the painter Antonio Aquili who lived in Rome between the end of the fifteenth century and the beginning of the sixteenth century, known as Antoniazzo Romano, and not Antonazzo as he is erroneously indicated in the nameplate. He painted the frescoes with stories of St. Frances in the monastery of Tor de ‘Specchi; he collaborated with Domenico Ghirlandaio and with Melozzo from Forlì in the decoration of the Vatican Library and worked with Perugino at the Sistine Chapel.
