Anna was born in Berlin in 1878 to a family of doctors. She moved to Rome to start a more accessible life for a woman and attended Angelo Celli a hygienist who became the scientific protagonist of the fight against the malaria in the Pontine marshes. Anna supports her husband who gives her very important tasks such as organizing the infirmary of the Santo Spirito Hospital or the pediatric surgery of the shoe in Trastevere. But the « opera omnia » of the two spouses will be the center anti Malaria in the Casale della Cervelletta.
