She started gymnastics at the age of four and a half in the suburban gym of Roma Polimnia Ritmica Romana, she won the silver medal in the team competition at the 2004 Athens Olympics and the team gold medals at the World Championships rhythmic gymnastics of Baku. In 2005, the following year, she took part in the European Championships in Moscow winning two silver and one bronze medals and in 2007 she won three silver medals at the World Championships in Patras (Greece). At the European Championships in Turin, she obtained the title of European Champion winning the gold in the specialty with the ropes winning two other medals, silver and bronze.In 2010 at the Europeans of Bremen she wins two silvers and one bronze. In 2010 at the World Championships of Moscow she is reconfirmed World Champion. In 2011 at the World Championships in Montpellier she is World Champion with the Gold Medal. She takes part in the London 2012 Olympics conquering with the team the Bronze Medal in the general competition. After the Olympics he retires from a sports career.
