  Famous people of Rome

Son of Piero and Dianora Del Bene, he was born in Palazzo Falconieri, in Via Giulia. He dedicated to Cristina of Sweden, who came to Rome at Christmas in 1655, a work in Greek, Latin and Italian. This made him known in Rome and made him get the papal sympathy. Also in 1656 he was admitted to the group of humanists who met at Palazzo Farnese around Cristina. In 1657 he entered the newly founded the Accademia del Cimento and the Accademia della Crusca.
