«Shoeshine» is a cinematic masterpiece of the Italian Neorealism, directed by Vittorio De Sica in 1946. The Sciuscià are the shoeshine, children who in the postwar period had to collect in all ways some change. They used to do it in Via Veneto, and to shine the shoes on soldiers and men passing through. The protagonist, then fifteen years old and with a clean and beautiful face, is Franco Interlenghi also a father of Antonellina.
