The shop of religious articles in which Mara (Loren) tries to convince Umberto (Ridolfi) not to abandon the seminar is in Piazza Della Minerva in Rome. «Yesterday, today, Tomorrow » is a 1963 film, directed by Vittorio De Sica, winner of the Oscar for Best Foreign Film in 1965. The film is articulated in three episodes set in the three largest Italian cities (Naples, Milan and Rome), all interpreted by the couple formed by Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni and directed by Vittorio De Sica on subjects written by as many great authors of the Italian culture.
