  Rome in the Movies

Back protagonist, after «La Dolce Vita», the Trevi fountain in another film: «We All Loved Each Other So Much» (1974) by Ettore Scola. We're in 1959. One evening Antonio (Nino Manfredi), Porter at the hospital, is stuck with two colleagues on the ambulance: You can not pass in the square of Trevi Fountain. Not for the usual tourism, but because they are shooting a film, in fact two actors, a man and a woman, are inside the fountain, very close together. Antonio is intrigued, and after a while he seems to recognize the people of his friend who has not seen for a few years: Luciana (Stefania Sandrelli), who was his girlfriend for a short time in 1948. He took it away Gianni (Vittorio Gassman), with whom, together with Nicola (Stefano Satta Flores), Antonio had made the resistance. Gianni then left Luciana to marry Elide (Giovanna Ralli), the daughter of the famous builder Romolo Catenacci (Aldo Fabrizi).
